One of the best experiences thus far in my art career was being chosen as one of the participating artists for the 2nd Ave Art Wall in Downtown Nashville. The Studio 208 owner and arts advocate, Ashley Segroves, spearheaded the entire project from start to finish and I can’t say enough good things about her. She saw a need (a bland building in the middle of a bustling downtown metro) and pushed for public art to fill the walls instead.

I had the honor of making two pieces for an incredible couple who moved to downtown Nashville recently. They renovated two penthouses into one live/work space and added a collection of primarily Tennessee artists to fill it. I was absolutely thrilled to be considered for this project and got to partner with Rick at Interior Anthology for the custom frames.
From the Interior Anthology Instagram Account: “Recently in our studio was this custom frame design by Rick. He took a traditional “drawing frame” and modified it to a contemporary floater frame. Complete with antique white and 22k gold finishes, truly makes the addition of @cassidycoleart to their collection a one of a kind!”
It’s not everyday that your work gets that kind of star treatment so I am very thankful and excited about the life these two paintings will go on living in their new home!
This was a recent commission I did for Tri Star Energy's corporate collection. They had seen my work and asked that I make something with their logo colors incorporated. Beyond that, they gave me complete creative control and I had so much fun trying to play with the idea of what a painting could do for clients walking into the doors of an energy company. How could I help Tri Star translate what they are about with strokes and color? This was the result! (36x48in.) Also, very thankful to The Arts Company for getting my work into some incredible collections!
